My Most Worn Fall Staple

One of my most worn pieces of clothing last fall was this Free People cardigan last seen here and here. The Saturday Morning cardigan is its actual name and that is exactly what it feels like when you put it on – a big blanket you want to curl up with on a Saturday morning. I’m so excited that it is back this season in pretty pastels like this mint blue and this coral color (on sale for $59!). It is pretty oversized, but not in an overwhelming way. I love that the cutouts throughout the cardigan make it lightweight and breathable for layering. I ordered an XS/S for reference. And even after a few washes it’s still in great condition!

For a more casual monochromatic look you can pair the cardigan over a sleeveless dress and cutout flats. I wore these so much this past summer and wear them on the warmer days here in Chicago. They are an identical version of the popular Free People Royale flat for a fraction of the price.

One trend I was a little hesitant to try but have actually loved is the sock bootie. I purchased this pair during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and they are so comfortable and flattering. Switch out those flats for these and you have a more sophisticated look perfect for fall. They also come in a tan suede color which is currently 20% off.
