Winter White Parka
Our first Chicago snow was pretty magical. We missed the first one when we were in Dallas over Thanksgiving so Chas and I were giddy to get out and experience this winter wonderland. It was the perfect time to take out this beautiful Bernardo down puffer coat I’ve been saving!
I think there is something so timeless about a winter white look especially in the snow! It’s classy + it’s clean. I’ve never owned an actual parka until we moved to Chicago. It just doesn’t get this cold in Texas. However, it has been fun (+ a little different) learning how to layer and adding new staples to my winter wardrobe. Enter this dreamy down puffer fit for a queen. It’s incredibly warm and actually feels like a down comforter giving you a warm hug. The best. The faux fur statement hood adds an element of elegance and the pockets are pretty deep which I love.
It looks like we might be getting up to 10 inches of snow this weekend! Most of the people we have talked to have said this winter has been very mild compared to most. (We are thankful for that!) Already half way through January and we still haven’t experienced negative degrees so we are counting our blessings over here.
