A few weeks ago we packed up for a picnic date and headed for an afternoon at one of our favorite spots. I have been dreaming of summer picnics in the park ever since I added this darling basket to our wedding registry a little over three years ago.

There are hidden gems around every corner at The University of Chicago. With all of the beautiful old trees canopying over the main quad, it’s easy to find the perfect place to picnic. A cheese tray and some fruit made for a yummy spread while our delicious ningxia red added an afternoon energy boost.
