DIY LASH + BROW SERUM

+ 6 drops lavender essential oil

+ 6 drops cedarwood essential oil

+ 6 drops rosemary essential oil

+ Organic pure castor oil

+ Empty mascara tube

I purchased these empty clear mascara tubes and used this organic castor oil to make my serum. Every night, after you cleanse, tone, and moisturize your skin apply the serum to your lashes and brows. Be careful not to rub your eyes so you don’t get the serum in them. I have honestly noticed a difference in my lashes and have been tweezing my brows more frequently since using this serum. My mom even asked me a few weeks ago if I was doing anything different because she could tell a difference!

Here’s a step by step of what my mornings look like with these clean products:

Charcoal Bar Soap / Satin Mint Facial Scrub

The Charcoal Bar Soap is infused with the yummiest smelling orange blossom that pulls out dirt and impurities without stripping the skin’s natural moisture barrier. It always leaves my face feeling squeaky clean!

I use the Satin Mint Facial scrub 2-3 times a week and love how gentle it is on my skin! It has peppermint essential oil in it which has a slight cooling sensation to give your skin a tingly fresh feel which helps wake me up in the mornings.

ART Refreshing Toner

This toner gently removes any other impurities without drying the skin. It’s the perfect blend of essential oils to balance your skin’s pH, while leaving your face clean, toned, and refreshed. I put it on with a small cotton pad and it smells heavenly!

Acne Treatment 

This acne treatment has naturally derived, maximum-strength salicylic acid from Wintergreen to help clear blemishes, pimples, and blackheads. It’s mixed with tea tree essential oil to help cleanse the skin while manuka oil reduces the appearance of blemishes. Whenever I feel a blemish coming on or want to treat one I put a small pea sized amount on the area and it dries those unfriendly blemishes out so well.

Frankincense Oil + Jade Roller

Frankincense is one of the best essential oils you can use for your skin. It creates a beautiful dewy glow and supports in removing those fine lines and wrinkles. I love adding the roller fitments that come in the starter kit on top of mine and rolling it down the lines of my face. I then go in with my jade roller to help with the puffiness that sometimes comes in the mornings. The jade stone stays nice and cool which is an added bonus to making my skin feel refreshed in the morning.

Glow Serum

This serum works wonders and is probably one of the cheapest serums you could make, and it isn’t full of harsh toxins and chemicals like some expensive serums on the market. I fill a 1 oz glass dropper bottle (love these!) with the following:

+ 15 drops frankincense

+ 15 drops lavender

+ 10 drops copaiba

+ 5 drops manuka

+ 3 drops geranium

+ splash of witch hazel

+ fill the rest with jojoba oil

ART Intensive Moisturizer

My grandmother’s have always told me moisturizer is the best kept secret to gorgeous skin! I end my morning skincare routine with a pump of this ultra-hydrating luxurious moisturizer on my face and down my neck. It helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as making the skin feel smoother.

For the past month I have changed up my skincare routine and started using Drunk Elephant. One of my girlfriends introduced it to me and suggested I start off with “The Littles” set so that’s just what I did!

The set includes 8 travel sized products from the line, perfect for the girl on the go!

Drunk Elephant products are 100% clean products and do not contain what they call the “Suspicious 6” – Essential Oils, Dry Alcohols, Silicones, Chemical Screens, Fragrance/Dyes and SLS which is what makes them so great for all skin types.

Since using The Littles set I have seen a huge difference in my skin (my mom even asked me if I was doing something different!) because my skin is more bright, even, clear, dewy, and just feels better.

What I love most is not only do they work, but it takes less than 2 minutes! I put one pump of each product in my hand, blend them and then pat them all into my face! So simple, so easy!

Morning Routine: I use one pump of C-Firma Day Serum, one pump of Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, and one pump of B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum and pat it all over my face, neck*, and back of my hands. Then I take the Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense SPF 30 and rub it into those same areas. I love that this SPF doesn’t feel sticky or greasy on my skin. Once that’s set, I put on my makeup and I’m ready for the day.

*Don’t neglect the neck! Whatever you do on your face continue on your neck as well! You’ll thank me later (wink).

Night Routine: Before I go to bed I use the Beste No.9 Jelly Cleanser to remove my makeup and cleanse my face. Next I use one pump of the T.L.C. Framboos Glycol Night Serum, one pump of Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil and sometimes I add a pump of the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum if I feel like my face is dry. Then I use a pump of the Shaba Complex Eye Serum and gently pat under my eyes, on my eyelids and run the excess over my eyebrows and lashes. Lastly, I dab some of the Lala Retro Whipped Cream to my face and neck. Time for bed!

I started noticing results around the second week of consistent use. The Littles set is supposed to last you a month up to a month and a half. 

Next on my list is the D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Serum which is supposed to give your face a golden glow. You can even use it as a tinted moisturizer if you’re not wanting to wear much makeup in the summer! The T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial is an award winning product among the Drunk Elephant line. The exfoliating treatment improves skin texture and tone which gives you a more youthful radiance. And as you can probably tell by the name, it makes your skin feeling baby smooth. Can’t wait to try it!

If you’re wanting to start small my favorite products are the C-Firma Day Serum (helps brighten and tone), the Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil (helps rejuvenate skin and you can even run this through your hair to calm frizz, nourish, and add shine!), and the T.L.C.
