5 Cozy Sweaters for the Girl on a Budget

We have officially caught a glimpse of fall with the weather being in the 60’s this past week in Chicago. I took advantage of a few labor day sales and stocked up on some sweaters for the season at one of my favorite retailers for layering pieces. The only thing, the items on this site usually go out of stock pretty fast so I would order your favorites while they’re still available in all sizes!

Neutral Sweaters for Fall | Miss Madeline Rose

I shared my top 5 affordable sweaters yesterday on my Instagram stories and am so glad y’all loved them as much as I do! I was impressed with the quality of each of them and have no doubt they will get lots of love this season. I included all the sizing details under each photo for reference.

Ruffle Detail on a Cream Sweater | Miss Madeline Rose

I have a feeling I’ll be gravitating towards this cozy cream knit sweater with ruffle trim. It has the perfect amount of feminine details for any fall outfit. I think this color would be darling for October festivities and I have my eye on the light grey, too! I am wearing my normal size small.

Cozy Neutral Sweater | Miss Madeline Rose

This rib-knit wool blend sweater is definitely the softest of the bunch! The sleeves are a little longer and oversized so I just rolled them under once for the perfect fit. I love the mock neck. Wearing my normal size small.

Basic Turtleneck for Fall | Miss Madeline Rose

If you’re looking for a lightweight turtleneck great for layering, I was very impressed by the quality of this one. It comes in multiple colors like black + burgundy. I sized up in this, wearing a medium.

Camel Sweater | Miss Madeline Rose

I love the pretty camel color of this boxy mock-turtleneck sweater. I slightly scrunched up the sleeves to give it a little more shape. Wearing my normal size small.

Cozy Sweater for Fall | Miss Madeline Rose

I think this is such a pretty color for fall! If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my first winter living in Chicago it’s how important layering is. This fine-knit sweater is perfect for that whether you live somewhere that doesn’t get super cold in the winter or you do and you need all the layers you can get! Wearing my normal size small.

bloom + grow forever,
