Merry Christmas Eve! This month has flown by and so much has happened! I’ve enjoyed a nice break from blogging the past few weeks to get the majority of our wedding plans nailed down. You may have seen in this post that I said YES to the DRESS this week! I’m keeping it a surprise from everyone (besides my mom + sis who helped me pick it out!) but I’ve definitely tried it on everyday since I got it… I can’t wait to share all the details about where we went and of course the dress itself come May 26th!
I wanted to share an outfit idea for a winter wedding you might have in these next few months. The silhouette of this dress is elegant and classy. I love the taupe color but it also comes in a beautiful burgundy that I think is just as gorgeous! Pleats are definitely in this season from midi skirts to dresses, it’s a simple texture that adds sophistication while the cold shoulder sleeves keep it trendy. I took these photos when the cold front hadn’t quite hit yet so lace-up heels might not be best for colder weather, but you could always add a nude heel instead.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas! My family and I are attending our church’s Christmas Eve service this afternoon. The candlelight service is truly one of my favorite traditions. It’s easy to get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season, but there’s nothing like “Silent Night” being sung in a room full of candlelight celebrating the night of our sweet Savior’s birth.
Merry Christmas!
bloom & grow forever,
Madeline Rose
