Last week we flew to Florida to rest and relax on the beach with the Taylor crew and to celebrate Chas’ grandparents 60th wedding anniversary! They are the ultimate #goals.

I like to dress comfortably and with layers when I travel so I wore this tank dress (that is currently 10% off with code “madeline10“) with a denim jacket. 

One of my favorite accessories to sport this summer is a simple square scarf. Whether you wrap it around your neck, hair, or handbag it can easily elevate any look. I love the pattern of this one and it’s under $20.

Another reason this was such a sweet trip is that we were able to pull of the most perfect beach proposal! My brother-in-law had been planning this for a while and asked me to photograph the engagement. I was a combination of nerves + excitement, making sure to capture all the candid moments. It was the most special day. Congrats, Bryce + Julia!

We have more travels coming up this weekend as one of my college roommates is getting married and then we’ll be in Colorado spending more time with family. Summertime is the sweetest.
