“Don’t wear white after labor day.” I’m usually an avid rule follower, but when it comes to wearing white after Labor day I’m all about breaking that one. There’s something so clean and chic about an all white outfit, especially during winter. When styling winter whites I like to stick with creams and ivory colors to pull off the monochromatic look.
I wore this cable knit sweater and cream skirt last Sunday to church when Chas came home for the weekend! We went to the Galleria for lunch and watched many kids break out their ice skates and glide around the beautiful Christmas tree (that is already up!! Eeeep! – Which reminds me, my mama and I are thinking about getting started on our Christmas decor tomorrow and I. can’t. wait.)
Back to the details! My favorite part about this skirt is the gold detailing of buttons; classy and simple. This look can be easily recreated with any color – blacks, browns, navy, you name it! Although the exact H&M skirt isn’t online yet, the navy one is but there were a lot of cream ones left when I got it in store.
Hope you all have a wonderful day! I’m going to be enjoying every minute of this week off with family & friends.
I LOVE all things this and all things your blog!!! It super fun to dream looking at all these things and knowing there are things I can purchase on our budget. You are a dream Madeline!
