Pom Pom Poncho Cover Up (identical one here!) | Kortni Jeane Swimsuit (top + bottoms) | Tory Burch sandals | Floppy hat (camel here, black here)
Happy Monday, friends! I have been waiting since February to share the details on this fabulous cover-up with you! After coming across this DIY tutorial for the pom pom poncho by Merrick’s Art I went to my crafty and talented seamstress roommate, Jennifer, to see if she was up for the challenge! We strolled through Hobby Lobby for the perfect fabric and Jennifer found this lightweight sheer material with delicate gold details and I knew immediately it was the winner! (you go, Jenn!)
If you’re not feeling too crafty I did find an almost identical one linked here for less than $15! What. A. Deal.
As for the swimsuit.. Kortni Jeane is one talented gal. I found her on Instagram and couldn’t wait to purchase my very first #kortnijeaneswimmer. She has a line of darling swimsuits (top + bottoms sold separately) that are fun to mix & match to suit your personality! I love blush so I went with the adorable 3D high-waisted floral bottom (so chic!) and the gold + white stripe top. You’ve gotta be on your game ready to grab your favorites because everything sells out fast! Follow her instagram (@kortnijeane) for restock notifications and the cute ways she pairs her suits!
I also had a couple of questions regarding this swimsuit I posted on Instagram last week. I came across Bikiniboo, a cute & affordable Etsy shop and read a myriad of reviews raving about how wonderful the handmade suits were as well as the customer service. So I ordered this black + white stripe bow bikini and I could not be more happy with it! It was shipped the very next day and I got it just in time for our trip to Cabo! I loved mine so much I convinced my sister to order one, too!
bloom & grow forever,
Madeline Rose
