If you follow me on Snapchat (“madelinemittel”) you might have seen that I am in New York for Fashion Week! I am interning with Ashley Robertson of The Teacher Diva and she invited me to come with her! Although this is not my first time to NYC, it is my very first Fashion Week and it has been a dream. come. true. New York is one of my favorite places. I love the fast-pace hustle and bustle of the city and couldn’t wait to go back to experience one of the city’s most popular weeks.

I kept my first look sweet and feminine by pairing this darling pleated leather skirt with this tie-front blouse. I love the soft tones that add to this monochromatic look. This lip color by Maybelline is my go-to plum color and adds just the right amount of pop to any outfit.
