This past week one of my sweet friends, Ruthie and I made our way to Waco to visit Magnolia Market. If you’re not familiar with it, Magnolia Market is the home of some of the most darling home decor from the HGTV show, Fixer Upper. I think I’ve watched about every episode and haven’t seen one I didn’t love! Lucky for me, it is only about an hour and a half drive from Dallas. Joanna Gaines has incredible taste and knows how to make a house feel like a home. If I were decorating a home, I would’ve bought everything in the market, but I decided to save all my dreamy home plans for someday and loaded up on some fabulously smelling soap!
They recently added a bakery to the Silos and we couldn’t leave without satisfying our sweet tooth! I got the “Nuts & Bolts” which was a vanilla cupcake filled with pecans and walnuts, topped with cream cheese icing. Ruthie got a vanilla cupcake with vanilla cream frosting. So yummy!
I wore this sweet and simple striped dress from Old Navy. I love a good tee shirt dress and this one is so comfortable and the perfect price.
If you’re thinking about stopping by Magnolia I would recommend going on a weekday during the fall!
Madeline, it is always refreshing to look at your blog. Nice clothes, interesting stories and a pretty girl. Mossy
